Each bottle, which has the DOP finish for protecting the inviolability of the product, comes in the Verdetrusco (Etruscan green) colour, ideal for conserving and protecting the organoleptic properties of the contents.

This is the result of the test conducted by the Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro (Experimental Glass Station) on the filtering power of Verdetrusco® compared with other types of coloured glass.

In 2016, the second furnace was installed in the production plant of Vetreria Etrusca in Altare, dedicated to clear, Extrabianco (extra-white) and Mezzobianco (half-white) glass, while the production of Verdetrusco® continued in the first furnace. The main objective of this new “Centauro” furnace, designed to reduce environmental impact to a minimum, is the integration of the factory with the territory, by combining its innovative technology with the electro-filter already in existence since 2009 for the treatment of the combustion fumes. Vetreria Etrusca has therefore increased its production capacity and this new furnace dedicated to clear glass will allow it to make its mark on the high-end distillery market as well.
